These terms describe the boundaries for using Sleepytime during the private beta. By using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and only with child and family information you are authorized to provide.

Sleepytime is in private beta. Access is limited while we improve the product and privacy practices, and these pages will be updated as the service changes.

Beta access

Sleepytime is currently invite-only. Access may be approved, limited, changed, paused, or removed as the beta evolves. Features may be incomplete, unavailable, or changed without notice.

Parent and guardian responsibility

You must be a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult caregiver to use Sleepytime with child or family details.
Children may not create accounts or use Sleepytime without parent or guardian supervision.
You are responsible for deciding what information is appropriate to share and whether a generated story is appropriate to read to a child.

AI-generated content

Sleepytime uses AI systems to help create story drafts, illustrations, narration, and story context. AI output can be surprising, incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. Review generated books before sharing them with a child.

Sleepytime is not therapy, medical advice, legal advice, child-care advice, or a substitute for parent or guardian judgment.

Your content

You keep responsibility for the story-session details, prompts, transcripts, feedback, and other materials you provide. You grant Sleepytime permission to process that content to provide the service, generate storybooks, maintain saved context, improve product quality, troubleshoot issues, and operate the beta.

Acceptable use

Do not provide child or family information unless you have the right to do so.
Do not use Sleepytime to create abusive, sexual, exploitative, hateful, violent, or harassing content.
Do not attempt to bypass waitlist, invite, rate-limit, security, or authentication controls.
Do not scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or misuse the service or public preview endpoints.

Accounts and deletion

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Signed-in users can request account deletion from the account page. Deletion is designed to remove storybooks, memories, story sessions, authentication records, and deletion requests to connected service providers when their systems support it.

Feedback

If you share feedback, bug reports, interviews, or research notes, you allow Sleepytime to use that feedback to improve the product without owing compensation or attribution.
